How to forward your Yahoo mail to another account

Yahoo-mail is a popular webmail service which is used all over the world for various purposes. Accessing it through IMAP and POP gives the user a unique experience. If you want to access your Yahoomail messages in another mail then you can do that by simply following the procedure as shown below.

1. Log into your account using user id and password
2. Click on gear box at right hand side of account
3. Select Settings from the gear box
4. Then go to the Accounts section
5. Click on Edit which is given next to the Yahoo account
6. Then a page will come where under Access your Yahoo mail elsewhere you will have to select Forward option
7. Enter the email address where you want to receive your yahoo messages
8. Select

Store and forward so that a message is forwarded to the desired mail    service and a copy of that mail is stored in original Yahoomail account

Forward if you want to forward only and do not save a copy of message in Yahoomail account

Store and forward and mark as read so that the mail is forwarded to other email and store a copy in original Yahoo account making it a read only( In this case the forwarded messages may still appear as unread inspite of settings made)

9. Click on Save button
10. If you have entered an email address which is yet not verified for accessible to you with Yahoomail.
11. Click OK button
12. Check the email address on which you want to forward your email for message from Yahoo! Member Services.

<yahoo-account-services-@cc.yahoo-inc.com> with the subject Verify This Email Address.

13. Click Verify in the mail message
14. Click on Save button

• Yahoo! Mail IMAP server: imap.mail.yahoo.com
• IMAP port: 993
• IMAP TLS/SSL: yes
• IMAP user name: Your full Yahoo! Mail address
• IMAP password: Your Yahoo! Mail password
• Yahoo! Mail SMTP server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
• SMTP port: 465 (you can try 587 as an alternative)
• SMTP TLS/SSL: yes
• SMTP user name: Your complete Yahoo! Mail address
• SMTP password: Your Yahoo! Mail password
• Yahoo! Mail IMAP server: imap.mail.yahoo.com
• IMAP port: 993
• IMAP TLS/SSL: yes
• IMAP user name: Your full Yahoo! Mail address
• IMAP password: Your Yahoo! Mail password
• Yahoo! Mail SMTP server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
