Delete cookies automatically

Each time when you close and reopen your browser you are signed out of your yahoo account even if you have checked “Keep me signed in option”. This could be because your browser is set to clear cookies automatically.

Internet explorer
Click Tools and then internet options

Go to the General Tab

Under browser history uncheck the checkbox Delete browsing history on exit

Click Ok for closing the Internet Options window

Close and restart your browser

Firefox
After opening the browser Click the menu option on the right hand side

Selects options

Then click on Privacy Tab

Under history

If it is set to Use custom settings for history uncheck the checkbox to clear history

Click Ok

Close and restart your browser

Chrome
Click on the Tools icon under settings

Click on show advanced settings

In privacy tab click on content settings

Under cookies make sure that the checkbox is unchecked for keep local data only until I quit my browser

Click done

Close and restart your browser
