Users face many problems while using their PC. For those issues Windows has no. of inbuilt tools that helps to come out of those situations. The article will cover the tools through which you can sort out any of the issues that you are facing.

Action centre
A no. of tools are available in the Action centre which you can access through white flag icon in the notification area of the taskbar. On clicking it you can take steps for resolution of your problem.

Windows troubleshooter
Open Action centre link to gain access to the action centre. Chances are that your problem is listed here if not then click the Trouble shooting link to use a no. of troublshooters that you can browse by category or search for particular keywords. Select the relevant tool and follow the instructions to resolve many computer issues with both Windows and hardware.

Task manager
Applications that are taking too much time to respond can be closed by clicking the taskbar. After opening the taskbar by pressing Ctrl+Alt+delete select the application which you want to close and click on End Task. If still the problem persists right click on the application and select Go to Process and click End process.

Compatibility issue
Some of the program that are not compatible with current version of Windows then you can make them to work using compatibility settings. If the program properly installs and but not running then right click the program shortcut and choose properties->compatibility tab. Then click Help me choose the settings.

Check PC reliability
If your PC is not working properly then click the Start button then enter reliability in the search box and view reliability history. You will see a graph with problem warnings and information during a day. Select a particular day and review all these problems. Focus on the links under Recommended Action and check for a solution. Clicking this will activate the problem reporting tool and it takes a proper action. Follow the instruction to find the solution of the problems if still the problem persist then double click an entry to check more technical details. Note down the problems and use Google search to track more information about the problem.

Hardware issue
If you are facing problem with the hardware such as webcam are not working properly. Then type “device” in the Start menu search box and click Device manger. You will see a list of all installed hardware device. Look for those having yellow exclamation marks. On double clicking you will see an error message and the solution. If there are no links provided, use the error code and description to find a solution of the problem using Google or use forum for posting your problem.
